Cheekface returns with their third album, 'Too Much to Ask,' building on the post-punk and power pop foundation of their previous work. Comprising Greg Katz, Amanda Tannen, and drummer Mark 'Echo' Edwards, the band continues to blend indie rock with their signature lyrical wit, exploring themes of modern isolation, daily routine, and life's absurdities. The new record incorporates experimental touches, including pianos, Casio keyboards, and unconventional percussion, as the group evolves their sound while maintaining their established fatalistic wisdom.
