Revered pianist Mitsuko Uchida joins Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for their first collaboration in over two decades. The program features Ravel’s jazz-inflected Piano Concerto in G, known for its delicacy and lightness. The performance also includes a palindrome-style fanfare by Salonen and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, a dramatic and kaleidoscopic work depicting an artist's obsessive visions.
