Jenny Sturgeon and M G Boulter present a musical collaboration born from a long-term postal and online correspondence between their homes in Shetland and Essex. Their shared songwriting journey, cemented through the Shetland Songwriting Festival, explores themes of travel, family, and meditations on the world around them. This performance showcases new work created in the quiet moments between their individual touring schedules and lives. Hailing from north-east Scotland, Jenny Sturgeon is a singer-songwriter known for her interest in traditional folk music and compositions inspired by nature and folklore. M G Boulter is a seasoned musician and songwriter from the Thames coast who has collaborated with various artists and remains a long-standing member of the Simone Felice Group.
