Mitsuko Uchida, a highly esteemed musician of our time, joins forces with Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for their first collaboration in over two decades. The program features Ravel’s jazz-influenced Piano Concerto in G, known for its spirited and jaunty character. The performance also includes Salonen’s palindrome-style fanfare and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, a dramatic work that explores a young artist's vivid and turbulent emotional journey.
