Aetherian
A high-energy, homegrown melodic death metal artist.
Aetherian are a melodic death metal band from Athens, Greece, formed in 2013. The band started as a studio project and shortly after their formation, they recorded and released two singles in 2014, "Drops of Light" and "Scar of Despair". In 2015 they signed a publishing contract for their debut EP ''Tales of our Times'' with the Polish label "Goressimo Records". In 2016 they released a new single alongside a video clip called "The Rain", which made a huge impact, currently reaching 3.6 million views on YouTube. Not long after, the band was approached by Lifeforce Records and a contract was signed for the release of their debut album ''The Untamed Wilderness''. The album was recorded and released during late 2017 and received an even larger feedback by webzines, magazines and blogs, being featured in Metal Hammer (Greece), Metalstorm Awards, Legacy Magazine, MetalSucks and many more. In between 2017 and 2019 the band participated twice in the Greek tour ''This is Hell'' and have also been the opening act for Lamb of God, Septic Flesh, Nightrage and Unto Others. In 2020 they released a new single, called “Primordial Woods” featuring Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ). During 2022 the band made their first headline tour outside of Greece, after completing their second full-length album "At Storm's Edge" at Devasoundz studios with Fotis Benardo (ex. Septic Flesh) as their producer.
