Kosmogonia is a folk-melodic-death metal band based in Athens Greece. The band was founded in 2015 by Kostas Magalios (guitars/vocals) and Christos Drosos (guitars) as a melodic-thrash metal band. During this period the band released a demo song called "Fallen Pegasus", followed by an EP containing three songs: "Fallen Pegasus", "Nobody's safe" and "Opium of Hallucination", which was presented at the Astarte Fest vol1. In 2017, after parting ways with Christos Drosos, Kostas Magalios decided to turn to the folk-melodic-death metal stile that the band has until today. With a new line-up the band releases the single "Triiris". In 2020 they released their first album "Enthrone the Gods" which contains their single "Triiris" among other ten songs inspired by ancient Greek history and mythology. Concurrently, one of the album's songs "Raven's call" is released as their first video clip. In February 2023 the band played live in Birmingham England at Hammer Fest XIV, that took place at the O2 Academy, Birmingham. The band is currently working on a new album that is expected to be released by the beginning of 2025.
