Night Talks started out as three kids who wanted to start a band, which sounds like the start to any great coming of age movie. Unsurprisingly, the trio is made up of filmmakers and film lovers — now adults, in the same band. Born and bred Angelenos Soraya Sebghati, Jacob Butler, and Joshua Arteaga create sparkly alt-rock that's inspired as much by films they create and consume as by LCD Soundsystem and Queens of the Stone Age. Their songs are defined by cinematic stories, danceable grooves, and intricate sonic layers, transporting you to a loud, lit up dance floor whether you're listening in your car or at a show. In 2022, Night Talks released their debut LP, Same Time Tomorrow — including KROQ's #1 Locals Only song of the year "On And On" — which was produced during the pandemic and allowed the band to create a whole visual world of music videos for every track on the album. 2025 saw Night Talks return to the studio to go deeper, taking a fresh, pop-forward approach to their songwriting and album conception. As they take their unique blend of synth pop and arena rock across the country, Night Talks continues to build their loyal following, winning over fans of every genre night after night.
