Sydney Lowell

A creative spirit, born as Sydney Lowell, with her rhythmic poetry tells stories that move. Sometimes critical, sometimes sensual, sometimes introverted, sometimes extra - always soulful. For the manifestation of the spirit, for connection, and as a call to love and introspection, Sydney Lowell is a poet out of necessity. She sees her poetry not only as a reflection of herself, but also as an extension; an extension that allows her to operate as a messenger. Every performance is an invitation to closeness and an energetic exchange with her audience. After almost 6 years of performing, and a multitude of live collaborations with musicians, Sydney Lowell made her recording debut in April 2023 with the release of her poem ‘Prayer’. Prayer was followed up by her second poetry single 'Testament' in August the same year. Poems that, just like her other work, are loaded with intention, spirit and emotion. Her debut EP 'WORD', released last October, is a testament to the transformative power of language and the dynamic role it plays in personal growth and expression. The power of words to conjure spells, shape beliefs, and define our paths. The Amsterdam born & bred is not just a poet, but also a voice actor, host and teacher.
