Dolf de Vries (1937–2020) was a respected Dutch actor, writer, and theatre performer from The Hague who became a key figure in Dutch cinema through his frequent collaborations with director Paul Verhoeven.
He is widely recognized for his character roles in classic Dutch films including the drama Turkish Delight (1973), the war thriller Soldier of Orange (1977), and the 2006 thriller Black Book.
