Fernando Lamas was an Argentine-American actor and director, active from the late 1940s through the early 1980s, who became a familiar face as a romantic lead in MGM film productions.
He is recognized for his performance in films such as The Merry Widow, Dangerous When Wet, and 100 Rifles.
His son is the actor Lorenzo Lamas, and he was married to the actress Esther Williams.
