it kinda felt like bad sex, you expect something to happen, you see that maybe something’s about to happen, and in the end you’re just left high and dry with nothing but longing for what could’ve been
i dunno fam, this was kind of a nothingburger for me... first of all the 25 year old looked 35 at least. second of all for making a movie which takes place within a day that day sure has to be interesting. it wasn't all that interesting.
A wealthy tycoon hosts an extravagant birthday gathering on a private island, but the event quickly becomes a breeding ground for secret agendas and social tension.
The film was directed by Miguel Ángel Jiménez, an independent filmmaker working primarily in European cinema.
The film takes place on an exclusive, isolated private island in the Mediterranean during the late 1970s.
