An underground jazz night.
East London’s Church of Sound marks 10 years with its Barbican debut, a celebration of British jazz’s past, present, and future. This special programme features the release of a 10th Birthday compilation album and explores the legacy of the golden era between 1965 and 1975. The first set, titled The Reverberations of British Jazz 1965-1975, honours the exploratory sound defined by artists such as Ian Carr and Stan Tracey. More than a tribute, the evening demonstrates how that exploratory spirit continues to connect collective memory with the modern imagination.
