Acclaimed worldwide for their virtuosity and musical connection, sisters Katia and Marielle Labèque return to the Palais Garnier. The two famous French pianists highlight a repertoire of female composers previously unexplored in their 55-year career. Performing on two pianos or four hands, they create a dialogue between pieces by Fanny Mendelssohn, Hélène de Montgeroult, Marie Jaëll, Grażyna Bacewicz, and Nina Simone, alongside works by Felix Mendelssohn, Gabriel Fauré, and Maurice Ravel, most of which were dedicated to women.
