Frustration is a seminal force in French rock, journeying from the DIY scenes around the Born Bad record store to becoming a central pillar of the European underground punk and post-punk landscapes. Their music probes the depths of human emotion and societal issues with a mature, integrated punk spirit across six essential albums. Warm Exit is a Brussels-based post-punk quartet that channels raw, industrial energy and krautrock influences. Known for intense live performances that transition from haunting whispers to powerful screams, their sound evokes the spirit of acts like Birthday Party and PIL. Their debut album, Ultra Violence, explores dark, dissonant textures with a driving electronic pulse.
