Hiss Golden Messenger is the project of Durham, North Carolina-based songwriter M.C. Taylor, in collaboration with recordist Scott Hirsch. The duo has worked together for nearly twenty years, crafting a sound that explores spiritual journeys and the search for meaning through music. Their work, such as the acclaimed release Poor Moon, serves as a poignant summation of Taylor’s songwriting path and their shared musical history.
