Tonight he presents a double program: first in duet with drummer and improviser Han Bennink, then with his own band Dulfer! Total Response. Last year, Dulfer and Bennink released the vinyl album The New, New Acoustic Swing Duo, a live concert from 2023 featuring on the B-side a long-forgotten recording from 1979. Total Response brings an explosive mix of free funk, dance, jazz, Latin, and rock ’n’ roll, with brand-new material and bold reinterpretations of Dulfer classics.
