Acid music has evolved beyond the iconic squelch of the Roland TB-303, bleeding into a multitude of styles and sonic palettes. This edition of Focus explores those varied contours with a lineup of skilled artists. Berlin-based Curses brings his dark, New Wave-influenced aesthetic, blending the legacy of acid with EBM, post-punk, and new wave. Los Angeles producer Dreams contributes a seasoned acid techno sound, while Sweater On Polo offers an improvisational live hardware set. The night is rounded out by S4M23, known for groove-driven electro and house rhythms.
