Cubitt takes over Cafe OTO for a cèilidh, a social evening and cultural celebration common in Gaelic cultures, raising funds towards the costs of its recently announced move. Founded by artists in 1991, Cubitt is one of London’s oldest artist-run cooperatives. This evening features live cèilidh music and dancing performed by a unique band assembled by members of Shovel Dance Collective, alongside poetry readings, a fundraising raffle, and DJ sets. This gathering celebrates Cubitt's thirty-five-year history of supporting experimental artistic and curatorial practices through studios and education programs as it works to secure a new permanent home.
