A gritty, underground german indie night.
The Danish post-hardcore and noise band Lack is releasing their first album in 18 years and embarking on a tour. Known for a sound that shifts between post-hardcore, indie rock, and film noir, the group built a reputation as one of Copenhagen's most explosive acts before going on hiatus in 2008. Their new self-titled album reflects a patient inquiry into artistic relevance and the tension between resignation and optimism. Joining them is Tonia Reeh, a prominent figure in Berlin's indie underground scene. With a diverse musical history ranging from electro-trash to piano punk, she now performs solo with acoustic guitar and voice. Her recent work focuses on poignant, anarchist stories that side with the marginalized and the misfits.
