David Binney Action Trio feat. Louis Cole and Pera Krstajic
A high-voltage jazz ensemble led by alto saxophonist David Binney, one of contemporary jazz's most prolific voices with over 30 albums as a leader. Binney, who has appeared on more than 400 recordings and was instrumental in the band behind David Bowie’s Blackstar, brings his Action Trio to London. Joined by Grammy Award-winning drummer and bandleader Louis Cole and bassist Pera Krstajic, the group forges a sound that is raw, precise, and expressive. Blending high-velocity improvisation with intricate compositions and dramatic tempo shifts, the trio is considered one of the most electrifying live acts in modern jazz today.
