Ihor Tsymbrovsky and Katarina Gryvul Live at KW Institute for Contemporary Art Berlin
An underground, slow-burn experimental night.
Architect, painter, poet, and musician Ihor Tsymbrovsky presents selected works from his three-decade career, featuring voice, piano, and organ. The performance highlights his cult 1995 album Come, Angel, a landmark of the Ukrainian underground. Influenced by early choral training, his distinct vocal style blends minimal song structures with vocal improvisation and poetry. Many pieces integrate texts from Ukrainian poets Mykhailo Semenko and Mykola Vorobyov, creating a deeply emotional musical experience. This event is a double bill with Katarina Gryvul.
