Monobloco

Brazilian street band (bloco) Monobloco is coming to Melkweg this fall! As lively as ever, Monobloco shone during Carnival 2024. Thousands of revellers followed the parades in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and enjoyed the Monobloco Show's performances at numerous events and festivals across Brazil. Last year, the megabloco led by Pedro Luís, Celso Alvim, C.A. Ferrari and Sidon Silva performed the theme ‘Toca esse tambor’, inspired by the song Jorge Aragão composed for Monobloco. We can't wait for their return!
