Ital Soup (Italy) I-tal Soup is an independent label founded in 2013 by Italian producer Petah Sunday and Mighi Tsadiq, specializing in UK roots reggae and dub with militant steppers riddims and heavy bass lines, inspired by Rastafari and cultural lyrics. Petah Sunday is a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer who plays and records many of the instruments, with the label's music played by legendary soundsystems and featuring collaborations with artists like Akae Beka and Pablo Gad. The label's musical offerings are described as a blend of ancient and modern sounds, like a natural vegetable soup with a complex taste, focusing on messages of justice, peace, and unity. Jonah Dan (UK) Jonah Dan’s contributions to Dub and Reggae music have been immense. From being in old school Shaka recordings as a youth skanking and shouting for forwards, to establishing his own label in 1994 - first Abba Christos Tafari Records, later Inner SanctuaryRecords. From various strong collaborations with the likes of Paul Fox (and their joint project Shades Of Black), The Disciples, Alpha & Omega / Dub Dynasty, The Bush Chemists, Dougie and all the Conscious Sounds family and many others, to being one of the veterans of UK Dub and Reggae, who ranks among the absolute foundation. Sanga Mama Africa (France / Cameroon / Mali) Roots Daughters (Germany) The Roots Daughters were founded in 2009 by a duo of serious soundsystem addicts and roots music lovers from Pula (Croatia).They started out playing and promoting dub/roots music at Ljubljanas Mondays Dub Lab evenings at legendary Autonomous Cultural Centre Metelkova Mesto. After being part of the regional scene for some years, Julie continued their mission when she moved to Berlin in 2013. She meets Jahminta Zulu (Vintage Night Cologne) on the same musical frequency and they decide to join forces. Heavily inspired by rastafari and Jamaican soundsystem culture, the sessions are a space of sharing vibes, knowledge, developing skills and empowering one another. Tyrone Stepper (Netherlands / Suriname) Ray Ranking is a Selector and MC with deep Rootical Reggae expertise, known for delivering heavy bass selections that span from traditional roots reggae to the latest “steppers”, blended with his signature 80s Rub-a-Dub style on the microphone known as toasting. His performances are rich in exclusive dubplates, pre-releases and homegrown productions to move the people on positive frequencies and deep basslines. Tyrone Stepper is known for delivering conscious chants and igniting dancefloors with uplifting energy across Europe and beyond.
