Considéré par le magazine Jazzwise comme « un improvisateur brillant », le guitariste Romain Pilon s’est imposé au fil des années comme l’une des figures marquantes de la scène jazz européenne. De retour au 38Riv, il présente son projet Standards Trio. Le trio revisite avec liberté et élégance les grands classiques du Great American Songbook, ainsi que des compositions de Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Duke Ellington et bien d’autres.
