Op donderdag 8 oktober staat de Nederlands-Surinaamse singer-songwriter néomí op het podium van Patronaat. Met haar nieuwe single ‘Didn’t I’ luidt ze een nieuw muzikaal hoofdstuk in, waarin haar kenmerkende mix van etherische folk en minimalistische pop samenkomt met rauwe emotie en introspectie. Sinds haar EP’s ‘before’ uit 2022 en ‘after’ uit 2023 en haar bekroonde debuutalbum ‘somebody’s daughter’ (2024) groeide néomí uit tot een van Europa’s meest indringende nieuwe stemmen. Haar intieme songs, poëtische teksten en verstilde maar krachtige live-optredens leverden haar vergelijkingen op met artiesten als Laura Marling, Phoebe Bridgers en Daughter.
