The Vogler Quartett performs a program featuring Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's String Quintet in A major, Op. 18, and Dmitri Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 11 in F minor, Op. 122. Following an intermission, the ensemble concludes with Johannes Brahms's String Quintet in G major, Op. 111. The quartet is joined by Kwan Hon Gordon Lau on viola for the quintet pieces.
