Met niet meer dan twee violen, een lamp, een tafel en een paar pedalen creëert Diamanda La Berge Dramm een volledig eigen universum. Haar album _Chimp_, geprezen als verrassend, dromerig en avontuurlijk, komt tot leven in een intieme liveperformance waarin stem en viool de luisteraar meevoeren. De teksten van de Britse avant-garde dichter Steven J Fowler vormen de basis voor een poëtische verkenning van taal en geluid. Van fluisterend subtiel tot elektrisch vervormd, _Chimp_ ontvouwt zich als een organische soundscape waarin klassiek, avant-garde en alternatieve pop samenkomen.
