Macka B, a British-born Jamaican reggae artist, performer, and activist, is one of Britain's most influential dancehall DJs with a career spanning four decades. Known as "the Teacher," Macka B is celebrated for his social commentary and conscious lyrics, maintaining his principles and faith across more than 20 albums. Starting on sound systems in Wolverhampton, he has toured globally, performing with legends like Burning Spear, The Wailers, and Gregory Isaacs. Recently, he has become an internet sensation through his healthy eating vegan raps, including the viral "Cucumba" video which amassed hundreds of millions of views. In 2025 and beyond, he remains a popular figure spreading consciousness to new generations.
