Saxophonist Maria Grand performs a live set and session at Close Up in New York. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Maria moved to NYC in 2011 to pursue music, studying under Steve Coleman, Ohad Talmor, and Antoine Roney. She has toured internationally with the Antoine Roney Quartet, Doug Hammond Quintet, and Steve Coleman.
