Il Pomo d’Oro is a baroque orchestra known for historically informed performances of 17th- and 18th-century music. Celebrated for their virtuosity and expressive depth, they collaborate with renowned soloists and conductors. Beyond the concert stage, the ensemble leads educational and humanitarian projects through Harmony of Humanity. Prohaska is an Austrian soprano who debuted at Berlin’s Staatsoper Unter den Linden at age 20 and remains part of its ensemble. Renowned for her versatility, she performs music from Monteverdi to contemporary premieres and appears regularly at leading opera houses and concert venues worldwide. She has collaborated with conductors such as Barenboim and Abbado and records exclusively with Deutsche Grammophon.
