We The People

To a new season, new reflections and new awakenings. We invite you to We The People Poetry Night - 4 Sunrise: an evening of spoken word poetry, (live) music and conversation, dedicated to the season of spring. A season of the rising of our (inner) sun, and individual and collective awakening. The night follows sunrise along 4 symbolic acts: Dawn, Rising, Breaking Fast, and Sun. Each act reflects one of these elements of physical awakening, while carrying meaning on emotional, mental, spiritual and societal levels. With performances by Darsay, Ranie Ribeiro, Sophia Blyden and Sunni Lamin Barrow, and a dj set by Abiba This event is hosted in English, yet performance languages vary. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
