Greek conductor Teodor Currentzis leads his Utopia Orchestra in a high-tension performance at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. The evening features Stravinsky's revolutionary Le Sacre du printemps (The Rite of Spring), a work known for its sharp rhythms and fierce acuteness. In the second half, Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovich joins the ensemble to perform Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1, a piece celebrated for its technical brilliance and demanding cadenzas.
