Black Doldrums / Helicon / Flying Moon In Space
Fuzz Club lands in Berlin. Helicon arrive from Glasgow with ARISE, their fourth LP. Formed by brothers John-Paul and Gary Hughes, the band blends guitars, sitars, and electronics into a dense, exploratory sound shaped by years of touring. Their live sets are known for an intensity that drifts between structure and improvisation. Black Doldrums refine a darker gothic post-punk sound driven by insistent drums and melodic low-end. Their stage presence is precise and overwhelming, pulling introspective writing into a physical experience. Flying Moon In Space is a seven-piece ensemble that builds towering arrangements from motorik rhythms, layered guitars, and electronic pulses. Their live shows turn repetition into something hypnotic, threading krautrock drive with pop fragments and noise.
