The Buttertones x L.A. Witch

We bring a sunny slice of Los Angeles to Galaxy with this double bill of The Buttertones and L.A. Witch. The Buttertones are a cult rock band from Los Angeles. Their cinematic repertoire combines noir surf, garage and cinematic postpunk. Known for their energetic live shows ánd versatile releases: from ‘Gravedigging’ (2017) and ‘Midnight In A Moonless Dream’ (2018), to ‘Jazzhound’ (2020) and their latest album ‘Face to Face With Fantasy’ (2024), which marks their new chapter as a band. Also from LA: the gothy rock trio L.A. Witch, who come to Amsterdam with their recently released album DOGGOD. Their raw sound is reminiscent of gritty acts like The Kills, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Where on ablum ‘Play with Fire’(2020) they still explored surf-psychedelica, DOGGOD(2025) shows a minimalist, '80s gothpunk sound.
