A nostalgic classical night.
The Orchestre de chambre de Paris performs a programme featuring Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream Overture, written when the composer was only seventeen. Cellist Anastasia Kobekina joins the ensemble for Schumann's expressive Cello Concerto in A minor. The evening concludes with Mozart's Symphony No. 36, known as the "Linz" Symphony, which was composed in just four days during a stopover in the city.
