A slow-burn, underground classical night.
Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy debut their duo collaboration with a programme featuring works by Ukrainian composer Leonid Desyatnikov and Igor Stravinsky. The pianists are joined by the acclaimed tenor Bogdan Volkov and cellist Adrian Brendel. The evening includes Desyatnikov's song cycle Dichterliebe und -leben, inspired by absurdist poetry, and Variations on the Acquiring of the Dwelling for cello and piano, alongside Stravinsky's Jeu de cartes arranged for two pianos.
