Sophie Trost is a singer-songwriter based in Berlin who crafts acoustic pop enriched with elements of folk, jazz, bossa nova, and reggae. Her music balances light and serious themes, processing personal experiences and socio-political events into danceable, improvisational songs. The Sophie Trost Combo features soulful vocals and warm clarinet melodies, supported by virtuoso guitar and a rhythmic foundation of bass and percussion. In May 2025, the group released their debut album, "Into This World We Plunge," which has gained recognition on various cultural radio stations. This performance takes place as part of the 48 Stunden Neukölln festival.
