Vibraphonist, producer, and composer Dylan K. Smith presents his band ‘UNGANO’ at Dizzy’s Club. Rooted in the Black musical tradition and hailing from Augusta, Georgia, Smith's music draws from post-bop jazz, gospel, and hip-hop. The performance features original compositions alongside works by Bobby Hutcherson, Joe Chambers, and Harold Land. The set explores the intersections of post-bop, bebop, and collective improvisation, honoring the influential lineage of Black American music.
