An underground clásica contemporánea night.
After eight years, the PEOPLE Festival returns to Funkhaus Berlin, focusing on creative processes rather than finished shows. Over one week, 180 international musicians collaborate in 40 studios to improvise and create new musical worlds without a pre-announced lineup. During the festival weekend, these works are shared across 11 stages and intimate studios. PEOPLE operates without hierarchies or commercial logic, ensuring every performance is a unique premiere. Founded by Bryce and Aaron Dessner, Justin Vernon, Ryan Olson, and Nadine and Tom Michelberger, the festival invites visitors to witness the creation of music live in the legendary acoustics of the former GDR broadcasting center.
