Toonaangevende bigband viert 30-jarig bestaan met twee jubileumconcerten. In december 1996 zette een band vol jonge honden het oude BIMHUIS op zijn kop met een fris en eigentijds geluid. Nu, dertig jaar later, keert het Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw terug naar de plek waar het allemaal begon voor twee speciale jubileumconcerten. Volgens het Algemeen Dagblad de beste, meest veelzijdige en meest swingende bigband van Nederland, deelde het orkest door de jaren heen zijn liefde voor jazz met vele (inter)nationale solisten. Het jubileum wordt gevierd met The Jazz Influencers XL: twee speciale concerten boordevol speciale gasten. Je hoort de Jazz Influencers van toen én de Jazz Influencers van nu, zij aan zij met een van de beste jazzorkesten van Europa. De volledige line-up wordt later bekendgemaakt.
