44hz with Leesmion & Cataa at Café Café Amsterdam
A raw electronic night.
It creates space for artists with character and a distinct perspective, inviting audiences to discover sounds beyond the obvious. The focus is not on trends or status, but on music and meaningful connection - where artists and crowd meet on equal ground, brought together by a shared love for sound. Shaped as an open and welcoming environment, 44Hz stands for connection over ego and for building a community rooted in inclusivity, curiosity and genuine exchange. At its core, the project is about giving music the space to lead and letting connection grow from there. Cataa (Stuttgart), now based in Amsterdam, discovered his love for music early, starting out with hip hop production alongside friends. Since moving to Amsterdam in 2022, he has become a key figure in the local scene, hosting events with the 8sixA collective and actively shaping the city’s electronic music community. Currently, his main focus is 44Hz. Over the years, his sound has evolved into a distinctive style that moves seamlessly between techno, raw electro-breakbeat, EBM, and new wave - all tied together by a deep atmosphere and heavy basslines, creating sets that immerse and move the crowd. Leesmion is one of the pioneers in the local and small scene of Breda in the last 3 years. With a diverse taste, blending multiple genres into a storyline. A mix between minimal, electro, progressive and even some other genres like synthpop sometimes peek around the corner. As one of the founders of Maalstroom music he and his friends established one of Breda's most iconic small parties in the city.
