Rahman Mammadli Live at Piraeus Club Academy Athens
A nostalgic, underground world night.
Rəhman Məmmədli, known as the 'humble god of the Caucasian guitar', comes to Greece for the first time. He has evolved the sounds of the Azerbaijani Gitara into an iconic musical style, blending Western and Eastern influences with incredible technical skill. His music is a unique combination of folk, rock, and jazz, heavily influenced by traditional mugham and ashiq traditions. His ability to mimic the voice of classical mugham singers with his instrument earned him the nickname 'the man with the singing fingers'. The performance features his son Tural on keyboards and Elshad Abdulrahimov on percussion.
