De wereldster speelt zelf de hoofdrol van Jackie White, de voorman van de scheepswerf in zijn geboortestad Wallsend. Het is een indrukwekkend eerbetoon aan de arbeidersgemeenschap, familiebanden en het vasthouden aan hoop in een veranderende wereld. De voorstelling combineert rauwe folk, opzwepende koren en intieme ballads tot een intens muzikaal drama.
