A noise-rock double bill in which two bands each reinvent the genre in their own unique way. Eindhoven-based **SØWT** shows exceptional craftsmanship in writing heartbreaking songs and heavy noise-rock riffs. With their new album "Is This The Hard Part" they show renewed self-confidence after a turbulent year: a fresh chapter in the dark, melancholic universe of the four-man formation. Their angular post-punk unfolds like an incessant storm cloud, in which lightning and hail erupt regularly, while the storm never completely subsides. **Great Yellowtail** only makes right-angled turns and sharp maneuvers that leave you completely dizzy. Their quirky noire-rock rages forward, sometimes distorted into meandering disco beats, as two drummers transform into dual guitarists and angular synths merge with a robotic voice that leaves you dazed. The Zeeland quintet, dressed in tight white shirts and flamboyant ties, constantly keeps the throttle on and shifts gears without a break: standing still is simply not an option.
