SHADES is the collaborative project of Alix Perez and Eprom, who first joined forces after meeting in the studio while working on the Foreign Beggars’ Modus EP. Their sound is characterized by slanted grooves, a deep low end, and a hard yet graceful production style. As described by XLR8R, their music represents a modern, polished evolution of the golden era of heavy bass and synthesizers, delivering a powerful sonic experience.
