Noodlebar at WORM Rotterdam

Hey y’all, finally a new Noodlebar, with again lots of adventure & new ideas, even more cables of different sorts (maybe even banana this time) and weird stuff (for the no-brainers) that goes beep but is also able to make any other kind of noise. What’s not to like ? (#2534) Oian Frame aka. Francesco Mellone: Exploring melodic ambient music with a synthesiser and a modular sampler. Deconstructing sound to enter the space in between, where it becomes both a guide and a room for thought, in a place where it moves in unpredictable directions. Marijn S Marijn S is a Dutch producer and DJ who showcases the organic age of dance with radiant breaks, gritty, icy soundscapes and hauntingly beautiful textures. As a producer, Marijn combines multiple contrasts in her work; the raw, pure and timeless essence of music. Embracing simplicity and tranquility, she infuses her creations with a sense of familiarity that resonates with listeners on a profound level. Marijn is also intrigued by the darker, experimental, and complex aspects of music. She sees this realm as an uncharted territory, filled with untapped potential. Her artistic expression is characterised by the playful juxtaposition of these contrasts. [moosdohmen] is a producer of live analog beats and modular sounds. He combines dub and lo-fi ambient elements to create his own blend. He performs with a 7U modular setup, Torso T1/S4, guitar FX pedals, and Elektron Syntakt and Pulsar 23 analog drum machines. Since 2023 he has performed at Paradiso Amsterdam, ADE, OT301, Vondelbunker, Modulation Utrecht, Dutch Modular Fest, Doka Amsterdam, ElektrikCafe Arnhem, Zeeplab, POM Eindhoven, and in Berlin and Cologne, Germany. Together with Paul Alstein he did live ambient dub sets in Amersfoort and Zeeplab. In the past few years he has done live streams for New York Modular Society, Colorado Modular Synth Society, and Modular World. He also did podcasts for the Ambient Vault and Data Cult Audio series. He also collaborates with drone artist Press any Key, together producing doombient dub. Sebastiaan Sinds zijn ontdekking van de modulaire synthesizer richt Sebastiaan zich op het live muziek maken met eurorack. Sebastiaan improviseert zijn composities, geïnspireerd door de werking van de modulaire synthesizer en hoe het zijn nieuwsgierigheid kan belonen.
