The Amity Affliction is a prominent Australian metalcore band founded in 2003. Formed by high school friends in Gympie, Queensland, the group's name serves as a tribute to a close friend lost in a car accident. Over two decades, the band has evolved from school concerts to international success, releasing multiple high-charting albums such as Youngbloods, Chasing Ghosts, and Let the Ocean Take Me. Despite various lineup changes, they have maintained a consistent presence in the global post-hardcore scene through extensive touring and a dedicated fan base.
