The Swiss pioneers of industrial rock, The Young Gods, perform in Athens for the first time as part of their 40th anniversary tour. Formed in 1985 in Geneva by Franz Treichler, the band revolutionized music by using samplers to reshape rock elements. Their career spans from the groundbreaking industrial sounds of their self-titled 1987 debut and the revolutionary 'L’Eau Rouge' to the mainstream breakthrough of 'TV Sky' and the ambient experimentation of 'Only Heaven'. Their 2026 appearance coincides with the release of their 13th studio album 'Appear Disappear', a raw and electronic-heavy record that reflects the current era.
