Sattas Live at Toekomstmuziek Amsterdam

Sattas was formed in 2008 and is considered one of the most established and pioneering reggae bands from Turkey. Since the release of their debut album in 2012, the band has developed a distinctive sound by blending Turkish musical elements with Jamaican-rooted reggae and dub. Over the years, Sattas has gained international recognition and has performed at major festivals such as Montreal Jazz Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, Sziget Festival, Abi Reggae Festival and Ruhr Summerjam Reggae Festival. Following their first album, the band continued releasing EPs consisting of original compositions and selected covers. While reggae remains at the core of their sound, their music also incorporates influences from rock, soul and funk, resulting in a dynamic and groove-driven live performance.
