Dana Lyn and Kyle Sanna are versatile musicians who connect their experience as composers and improvisers in New York City’s musical community with a deep admiration for traditional Irish music. Since 2015, their projects have focused on themes of environmental fragility, including projects like The Great Arc and The Coral Suite which celebrate biodiversity through Lyn’s artwork. Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist Dana Lyn has collaborated with artists like Taylor Mac and Brooklyn Rider, while guitarist Kyle Sanna’s diverse practice includes composition, improvisation, and live coding alongside Irish traditional music. Together they offer a unique approach to traditional Irish sounds.
